Senior Software Engineer - Mobile SDK

Our client, a leader in data analytics and risk management, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their Mobile SDK & Frameworks team located in Chatswood, NSW. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional passionate about deep systems-level programming and performance optimization on mobile platforms.

As a key contributor, you will design, develop, and maintain sophisticated mobile SDKs embedded in customer applications across iOS and Android. Your work will directly support fraud detection and behavioral analytics by collecting and transmitting device and behavioral data seamlessly behind the scenes.

This role focuses on advanced system engineering rather than UI or app development, requiring expertise in:

• Objective-C, Java, and C/C++ programming languages
• Memory management, concurrency, and performance tuning
• Android Studio, Xcode, Gradle, CMake, Android NDK toolsets
• Declarative UI technologies such as SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose

Responsibilities include optimizing SDK performance, conducting deep technical research into platform behaviors, collaborating across global teams, participating in code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD processes, and creating sample/test applications to validate functionality.

The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of software development experience, with at least 5 years focused on Objective-C and Java, proven success debugging and building mobile SDKs, and a commitment to clear communication and teamwork. You'll thrive in an Agile environment driven by continuous integration and improvement.
