Position: Network and Security Engineer
Location: Perth
Duration: 6 months
Detailed Job Description
- Deploy, manage, maintain all internal and external facing network, security and monitoring systems and their associated components.
- Interpret the activity of logs where required and take the appropriate action to mitigate identified issues.
- Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to investigate and recommend protection services and products before presenting such recommendations.
- Provide level 2-3 technical network and security support to internal end external customers to support the existing 24/7 operational environment.
- Utilise the existing ITSM “Change Control” management system to plan end implement required changes to the HBF security related systems where required.
- Certification or working toward certification in end CCNP Network or Security.
- A comprehensive understanding of network security principles end practice.
Must Have Skills:
- Strong technical background in the operation, management patching end upgrade aspects of the following software end appliance Infrastructure:
- Knowledge about Cisco Firewalling Routing Switching Wireless end monitoring.
- Public e-mail flow Domains DNS end standards (e.g. DMAC / DKIM / SPF)
- F5 Load balancers
- Proxies
- Certificate Management
Nice to Have Skills:
- Good documentation skills end eye to detail.
- Adherence to standards documentation end agreed-upon processes.
- Continuous Learning end be a keen learner who willingly picks up new technologies.
