We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master / Agile Coach for a 6-month onsite contract in Perth. This is a hands-on role where you will lead and support the transition to Agile, working closely with both IT leadership and product teams.
Role Expectations:
As the Senior Scrum Master / Agile Coach, you will:
- Lead the Agile transformation for the first Platforms team and first Product team.
- Coach and mentor teams to adopt Agile practices and principles.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure effective planning and execution.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Partner with the Digital Solutions Manager to ensure sustainable Agile capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recommend best-fit Agile practices tailored to each team’s needs and readiness.
- Support teams in establishing Agile practices and defining inter-team interactions.
- Ensure transparency and effective communication across teams.
- Identify and remove impediments to team progress.
- Establish a Community of Practice around Agile Continuous Delivery.
- Recommend an industry-recognised Agile maturity scale and team performance model.
- Advise on professional development pathways for teams and leadership.
Desired Outcomes:
- Teams can self-organise and continually improve.
- IT leadership team understands how to enable team success.
- An agreed team performance model and professional development approach is in place.
- A clear roadmap exists for extending Agile practices to remaining teams.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar.
- Strong expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or equivalent).
- Exceptional coaching and facilitation skills.
- Experience driving Agile adoption across multiple teams and leadership.
