Senior Frontend Engineer, Horizon (Remote - Latam)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join the Horizon Squad, contributing to the development of seamless and engaging user experiences. In this role, you will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement and optimize frontend features that enhance subscription, order management, and platform reliability. You will help shape product strategy, define roadmaps, and ensure that complex backend processes are presented to users in a simple, intuitive way. This is a fully remote position where your work will directly impact platform scalability, performance, and user satisfaction. You will be part of a collaborative, innovative team that values clean code, responsive design, and continuous improvement.

Accountabilities

• Architect and implement new frontend features using ReactJS and NextJS
• Optimize web applications for performance, scalability, and responsive design across devices
• Integrate frontend functionality with backend APIs, including RESTful and GraphQL services
• Contribute to design systems, reusable components, and UI/UX improvements
• Participate in code reviews and improve frontend test coverage using tools like Jest and Cypress
• Stay up-to-date with modern frontend technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to align development with business goals
  
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on frontend development
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, and Redux
• Experience with modern frontend build tools and performance optimization techniques
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and integrating frontend with backend services
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and UI/UX best practices
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress
• Proficiency with Git and Agile development methodologies
• Advanced level of English and strong communication skills
