This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer (.NET) in Latin America.

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in .NET technologies, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, secure, and scalable software solutions. You will work on modernizing legacy applications, building new features, and ensuring system reliability. This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to architectural decisions. You will collaborate closely with product and design teams, manage development pipelines, and communicate technical progress effectively. The position offers a fully remote work setup, allowing flexibility while being part of a dynamic, international team focused on delivering business value. Your expertise will directly influence project outcomes and enhance team efficiency.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and modernize .NET applications, including migrating legacy systems to .NET Core/.NET 8
  • Build secure and efficient RESTful APIs and integrate back-end components with databases such as SQL Server
  • Administer cloud environments, manage development pipelines, and oversee key deliverables
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical approaches and document user stories
  • Participate in Agile sprints, ensuring successful delivery and addressing defects or enhancements
  • Mentor junior developers through ad-hoc collaboration and structured code reviews
  • Present technical demonstrations and provide guidance to stakeholders on system capabilities and best practices


Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of professional experience in software development with .NET technologies
  • Expertise in C# and server-side application development, including secure RESTful API design
  • Experience with modern .NET frameworks (Core/.NET 8) and legacy system modernization
  • Proficiency with cloud services, database management, and DevOps/CI-CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software best practices
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
  • Experience mentoring and guiding junior developers
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Client-focused mindset with the ability to articulate technical solutions and business outcomes
