Role Summary
Bearaby is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Graphic Designer to support our creative and digital teams with stunning digital visuals for a range of digital mediums, such as website, email, paid ads, and social media. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing user-centric interfaces and creating engaging visual experiences that are optimized for conversions, in a way that adheres to our brand identity. An ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing a deep understanding of both graphic design principles and paid marketing strategies, with a proven track record of designing successful marketing campaigns for ecommerce.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ads creation: support our paid media team by creating marketing campaigns that includes images, videos and stitching user-generated content with overlay text and other compelling visuals.
- UI/UX Design: develop and implement visually appealing user interfaces for our website that are optimized independently for mobile and desktop, ensuring designs are user-friendly, responsive and aligned with best practices for UX/UI.
- Email design: use Figma, Canva or other design platforms to create marketing emails that are visually compelling, effectively communicated and follow the brand guidelines.
- Product packaging: create compelling and cost-effective packaging designs for our new products
- Photoshoot shot list: support on building out our photoshoot shot list with moodboards, design inspiration to create a coherent and detailed list that is in line with our brand guidelines.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Create detailed wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and user flows effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, marketers, and product development, to ensure designs are executed accurately and meet project objectives and timelines.
- Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and best practices. Bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions to enhance our eCommerce platform.
- Brand Partnerships: Support brand partnerships by creating product mock-ups for a range of different products, in a manner that is both innovative and true to the brand.
Who You Are
- Strong creative with an eye for great design that suits the brand style and addresses functional concerns.
- Knowledgeable and skilled in building ads, landing pages, adapting typography and design to the brand’s UI/UX guidelines, photography, and retouching images.
- A flexible thinker who is comfortable taking on feedback and can work with strategic direction
- A team player with the ability to work closely across teams in a fast-paced startup environment
- A proactive self-starter with top notch written and verbal communication skills
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, which include both written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptionally detailed, with the ability to create pixel-perfect designs and ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Comfortable with working in G Suite, monday.com, and Slack
- Adaptable, flexible and resilient, with excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferably a BFA with 2-3 years of graphic design experience, with a strong focus on digital marketing ads and email design.
- Experience working with design tools such as inDesign, Photoshop, Figma, Illustrator, and/or other related software. Strong understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with a digitally native brand or branding/digital marketing agency
- Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and analytical approach to design challenges.
- Experience working for an international company in a cross-cultural context.
- A passion for sustainable wellness and restorative rest is a bonus!
