Job Description: Cyber Security Analyst

Location: Canberra, ACT

Responsibilities

• Utilize Sentinel or similar SIEM solutions to monitor, analyze, and respond to security events.
• Ensure adherence to the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) guidelines.
• Implement and refine best practice cyber security monitoring processes.
• Collaborate with teams to enhance the organization’s security posture.
• Support the response to cyber incidents (desirable).

Mandatory Skills

• SIEM Expertise: Experience with Microsoft Sentinel or equivalent SIEM tools.
• Information Security Standards: Familiarity with the Australian Government Information Security Manual.
• Monitoring Processes: Knowledge of best practices in cyber security monitoring.

Desirable Skills

• Incident Response: Experience in cyber incident detection, analysis, and response.
