Flexcity, a leading European energy technology company and independent subsidiary of Veolia Group, is seeking a Product Manager Business Intelligence to join our Brussels headquarters as we scale from 80 to 100+ employees.

Our 3GW portfolio of diverse assets (batteries, renewables, electrolysers, eBoilers, etc..) operates through our proprietary platform, optimizing across all short-term electricity markets and serving more than 150 clients in 6 countries.

Job Description

As a Product Manager Business Intelligence, you'll join a Product team in full transformation. We're currently evolving from a 2-team technical organisation to product-focused feature teams.

Our Core Product team currently has 3 people, with the goal of recruiting 2 additional team members.

You'll specifically join the new Core Product team as Business Intelligence PM, which aims to deliver automated financial insights of our optimisation that will be used throughout the whole organisation. You will report to the Head of Product and work closely with Developers and Portfolio Managers, and the other Product Managers

Your responsibilities will include:

Product Development - 70%

  • Lead Business Intelligence strategy: Drive the development, execution and roadmap of automated financial insights that enable cross-market optimisation of our 3GW asset portfolio for both clients and internal stakeholders
  • Design and build data-driven products and infrastructure, including a scalable data pipeline that calculates the value generated by each asset in our portfolio, automated settlement tools integrating client-specific contractual parameters, and decision-support systems that enable internal teams and clients to optimise asset performance across multiple electricity markets.
  • Define product requirements for new commercial structures, ensuring platform scalability while meeting the latest needs in the market
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility, scalable architecture, and timely product delivery
  • Coordinate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive interfaces that make complex energy optimisation accessible to both technical and business users

Project Implementation - 30%

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle
  • Manage product launches and client/partner interactions

Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Product Management Experience: > 3 years in product management, ideally in B2B SaaS or tech environments
  • Data & Analytics Mindset: Strong experience with data interpretation, dashboard design, and translating complex analytics into user-friendly products
  • Technical Collaboration: Proven ability to work with engineering teams on data pipelines, APIs, and business intelligence solutions
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication in English (French or Dutch is a valuable plus)
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Experience coordinating between technical teams, business stakeholders, and end-users
