Security Engineer

Purpose

We are seeking a Security Engineer who is passionate about IT security and possesses deep and broad expertise in the field of System Engineering security. The role involves enhancing the security of systems and applications by protecting system boundaries, hardening computers and network devices against attacks, and securing highly sensitive data. You will be responsible for implementing new network and computer security controls across the organization.

What You’ll Do

• Safeguard systems, networks, and data through proactive security measures
• Respond to incidents and continuously improve response processes
• Contribute to infrastructure and business projects with a security-first mindset
• Maintain detailed documentation of security tools and configurations
• Design and implement cybersecurity architectures and protocols
• Troubleshoot and configure security infrastructure
• Develop innovative solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities and automate tasks
• Create use cases and dashboards for SIEM solutions
• Deliver clear, actionable reports and recommendations

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years in system engineering, including 3+ years in security engineering
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, XDR, application security, firewalls, vulnerability management, and more
• Strong understanding of network security and monitoring tools
• Deep knowledge of modern security principles and technologies
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to thrive under pressure
