Project Manager

An exciting Project Manager opportunity working with a leading Federal Government organisation, initially a 12-month contract with the possibility of multiple extensions due to the scope of work. This role offers hybrid working arrangements.

Your new role

• The role requires an experienced Project Manager for the successful implementation of Policy and ways of working supporting a larger Data Maturity Uplift Program.
• The role is required to undertake highly specialised, policy and technical work contributing critical elements to business-as-usual service delivery that impact on strategic and operational outcomes for the agency.
• The position requires a high-level of engagement and relationship management to stakeholders both internal and external to the Agency.
• This position will also coordinate the delivery of project milestones with the other projects in the program and internal and external stakeholders.
• The Project Manager will require the ability to facilitate discussions, to understand the impact on project delivery and communicate policy and technical information to a non-technical audience.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Demonstrated experience in managing policy, training and roles out skills in a multi-vendor environment, creating and managing integrated project schedules that align dependencies and deliverables, track progress and minimise project risk.
• Assist with the management of Agency procurement, contracts, and reporting requirements.
• Highly organised with sound knowledge of digital transformation, standards and interoperability.
• Proven experience rolling out policy against technology lead programs.
