The Role

TCS seeks a Front-End Developer (Mobile Apps) exhibiting a deep understanding of front-end technologies such as React Native, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as having experience with modern front-end frameworks like React.js.

You will also have experience collaborating with designers and back-end developers and have the ability to optimise mobile applications for performance and responsiveness.

Your responsibilities:

• Responsible for the front-end build quality of responsive web sites/mobile apps using React native, HTML, CSS and JavaScript under frameworks like React.js aligning with software development standards.
• Collaborating with designers and back-end developers to ensure the seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionalities.
• Ensure security by design principles, GDPR and accessibility standards requirements in front end code delivery.
• Optimising mobile applications for performance and responsiveness.
• Conducting code reviews and ensuring front-end code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Staying up to date with emerging front-end technologies, trends, and best practices.
• Writing and maintaining technical documentation for front-end code and processes.
• Participating in UI/UX design discussions and providing input on user experience.
• Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the product’s interface.
• Utilisation of modern frameworks and open-source libraries to transform customer experience.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• Proven experience as a Mobile Front End Developer.
• Strong experience in React native, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Good understanding of DevOps concept and Azure ADB2C.
• App deployment experience in iOS and Playstore.
• Understanding of cloud services like API management (APIM), App service and Azure configurations.
• Experience in UX/UI.
• Significant Experience in CI/CD and DevSecOps platforms.
• Experience in Cloud Technologies and Platforms e.g., Azure.
• Experience in secure software design and software security best practice and guidelines.
• Experience with a wide range of IT environments, platforms, and applications.
• Good Analytical and Problem-solving skills.
• IT Qualification - Degree or equivalent work experience.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

• Experience in incident, change management and transition processes.
