Townmore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality construction projects across sectors including residential apartments, commercial offices, educational facilities, and life sciences. This is a critical leadership role where you will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle from pre-construction planning to handover ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery. The ideal candidate will bring proven project management expertise, commercial acumen, and strong leadership skills to a dynamic and collaborative construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Oversee the full delivery of assigned projects from initial planning through to completion and handover.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate with site managers, subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to maintain alignment with programme goals and deliverables.
- Manage procurement schedules, resource planning, and contract administration.
Programme & Cost Management
- Track project milestones and budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost control.
- Monitor programme performance and implement corrective actions as required to address delays or issues.
- Prepare and deliver progress reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Represent Townmore professionally in all meetings, reporting, and correspondence.
Health, Safety & Quality Compliance
- Ensure all project activities are fully compliant with statutory and company H&S standards.
- Collaborate closely with HSEQ teams to promote a culture of safety and quality across all works.
- Manage audits, inspections, and quality documentation in line with project and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience in a Project Manager role within the construction industry.
- Proven track record managing complex construction projects ideally including residential, commercial, education, or life sciences builds.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contract management, and commercial processes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Asta, Procore or similar).
- Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and other relevant site certifications.
