We are looking for an EMC System Engineer, as the person responsible for
ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of Space Systems, He/She will be responsible for:
- Analyze the applicable EMC requirements at the system level, deriving the lower level requirements (unit and sub-system)
- Define the EMC activities to be applied to the project to ensure compliance of the project with the applicable requirements
- Analyze and evaluate the adequacy of the proposed design, with respect to the project's EMC environment, both at unit and system level.
- Define, track and evaluate the results of unit and system level testing campaigns.
- Following a "bottom-up" philosophy, which involves starting from the results of tests and analysis at the unit level, analyzing, by means of specific SW EMC (eg CST, FEKO, etc), the compliance of a spatial system with applicable EMC requirements.
- Attend technical meetings with partner companies and international clients.
Skills and knowledge:
- Degree in electronic engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of Matlab / Simulink, Mathcad, CST and / or FEKO, or similar tools for 2D and 3D EMC / RF analysis
- Scientific training (Mandatory)
- Good ability to learn new calculation tools (Required)
- Excellent written and oral English
- Knowledge of the French language will be considered preferential
