Senior SAP CAP Developer (NodeJS)

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior SAP CAP Developer (NodeJS) to join our team.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of a specialized application designed to handle unique business scenarios. This platform empowers partners to sell products, deliver services, or create solutions in non-standard situations, streamlining processes and providing tailored support to overcome operational challenges effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) and Node.js
• Design and implement solutions to address unique business requirements and exceptional use cases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Ensure seamless integration of the application with SAP HANA, utilizing calculation views and analytics tools
• Build and optimize authentication and authorization mechanisms using XSUAA in CAP applications
• Implement security measures at the SAP BTP platform level to safeguard system integrity
• Develop logging capabilities within SAP BTP to support monitoring and troubleshooting activities
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in SAP application development or similar roles
• Advanced proficiency in the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) and Node.js
• Strong experience with Git for source control and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Expertise in SAP HANA, including priority calculation views and analytics functionalities
• Solid understanding of SAP BTP security concepts, including XSUAA for authentication and authorization in CAP applications
• Knowledge of SAP BTP platform-level security practices to ensure compliance and system protection
• Familiarity with SAP BTP logging concepts to support application monitoring and diagnostics
• Fluent English proficiency (written and spoken) at a B2+ level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with CCS integration to enhance application capabilities
• Knowledge of integrating third-party solutions into SAP applications
