Business Analyst - Market Intelligence

Your Role at Cabot

As a Business Analyst, you will support strategic and operational decision-making within the Reinforcement Materials Segment, with a strong focus on global market intelligence. In this role, you will provide market analyses for both regional and global business managers, maintain and improve existing market intelligence databases and analytical solutions, and develop automated tools to streamline data handling and improve efficiency, in collaboration with the Global Market Intelligence Manager. You will also support global projects with ad hoc analyses and conduct market research related to the carbon black, tire, and automotive industries. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Global Marketing, Global Feedstock, Product Management, Sales, and Finance—you will contribute to data-driven decision-making by delivering actionable insights that drive profitability, efficiency, and growth.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Conduct analyses to interpret and explain activities; identify trends and patterns. Prepare and maintain standardized data views and analytics for monthly, quarterly, annual, and project-based analysis for the business, while sustaining data accuracy.
• Maintain and improve existing market intelligence databases and analytical solutions. Improve efficiency of data analysis, visualization, and reporting (deploying Power BI solutions, automation, etc.).
• Collect, analyze, and present market data that will help drive business strategy.
• Prepare reports provide research results and, when required, deliver presentations.
• Interface with sales and other business units to support their needs, goals, and strategies.
• Participate in the design of special marketing studies and contribute to cross-functional projects as directed.
  
  

What You Will Bring To Cabot

• University degree in Business, Marketing, or Data Analytics.
• Experience in market or data analytics preferred.
• Analytical and research skills and ability to review and interpret large amounts of data and provide insight regarding observable trends.
• Skilled in use of Excel, Power BI knowledge is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with different functions and regions to ensure alignment and communications as needed.
• Ability to communicate with clarity both orally and in writing.
• Ability to learn quickly and continuous improvement mindset.

Additional Information

• Working Hours: 9:00 - 17:30
• Permanent contract.
• Monthly allowance & Yearly bonus.
• Health insurance from first day of work.
• Hybrid work schedule (3 days on site and 2 days’ work from home).
• Salary: 2230 - 3200 EUR Gross. The final salary offer will depend on the candidate’s previous experience and qualifications.
