Product Owner – Banking Solutions
Role Summary
As the Product Owner (PO) for our next‑generation payment acceptance solutions software, you
own the product’s success from vision and roadmap through profitable delivery and long‑term

profitability, regulatory compliance, and user experience. Prioritize items by business value,
effort, and risk, and ensure acceptance criteria are crisp and testable.
• Lead backlog refinement and sprint ceremonies, clarify requirements on demand, and accept
completed work; guarantee each sprint delivers potentially releasable increments.
• Gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders; convert it into epics, user stories,
and success metrics while managing expectations on scope, timeline, and ROI.
• Monitor product P&L, pricing, and adoption metrics; trigger pivots or experiments to hit
revenue and margin targets.
• Stay ahead of bank (card) payments legislation and market trends; translate changes into
product requirements and release plans.
• Use analytics, A/B tests, and user interviews to validate hypotheses and sharpen
product‑market fit.
Minimum Requirements
• 3+ years acting as Product Owner / Product Manager in Agile software teams, preferably in
bank (card) payments, fintech, or other highly regulated domains.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze business processes and workflows, identify
risks, dependencies in product development, and drive continuous improvements on current
products and processes.
• Proven mastery of translating business needs into clear product development requirements,
backlog prioritization, epic/user-story writing, and acceptance-criteria definition.
• Strong commercial acumen: able to connect feature decisions with P&L impact and client
satisfaction.
• Superb communication skills—capable of explaining complex concepts in plain language and
of aligning senior stakeholders behind tough trade‑offs.
• Ability to understand common IT concepts such as APIs, databases, integrations and data
flows between the systems, dependencies, software security aspects.
• Awareness of software development life-cycle.
• Comfortable reading and discussing technical documentation as well as evaluating
implementation feasibility and possible product evolvement/development constraints.• Ability to read, interpret and analyze system logs, reports and performance data to identify
potential problems areas and their impact on product, and to collaborate in finding solutions
that mitigate negative product outcomes or user experience drawbacks.
• Hands‑on experience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence (or similar) and proficiency with MS
Office/Google Workspace.
• Fluent Lithuanian and professional English, written and spoken.
