About the Client:

Our client is a fast-growing Dutch scale-up that streamlines shipping logistics for e-commerce businesses across Europe. It offers an all-in-one platform that automates label generation, tracking, returns, and carrier selection.

Role Overview:

As a freelance BI analyst, you will support a project analyzing delivery performance across carriers and countries, identifying delays, bottlenecks, and customer impact. The goal would be to enhance shipping efficiency, reduce SLA breaches, and support negotiations with logistics partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extracting and integrating data from Azure Data lake, SQL Server, and APIs using Azure Data Factory
• Designing and building interactive dashboards with Power BI, Qlik Sense, or Tableau
• Writing efficient SQL queries and using dbt for data modeling and transformation
• Applying Python or R for advanced analytics, anomaly detection, and predictive insights
• Collaborating with data engineers, product managers, and operations teams to deliver actionable insights
• Preparing clear reports and presentations for both technical and business stakeholders
• Setting up automated monitoring and alerts with Azure Monitor or Power BI to track KPIs and SLA breaches

Candidate Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and modeling
• Experience with Power BI, Qlik Sense, or Tableau for building dashboards and data visualizations
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, or similar cloud data platforms
• Familiarity with Python or R for data processing, analytics, and basic machine learning techniques
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline orchestration (e.g., using dbt, Airflow)
