Job Summary:
As a Market Abuse Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with market integrity regulations. You will be responsible for monitoring trading activities, analyzing data for potential market abuse, and collaborating with internal teams to uphold our commitment to ethical trading practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and Analysis: Conduct thorough monitoring of trading activities across various markets to detect potential market abuse, including insider trading and market manipulation.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on findings and present them to the compliance team and senior management. Document any suspicious activities in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with local and EU regulations regarding market abuse, ensuring that our practices comply with the latest legal requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the compliance, legal, and trading teams to provide insights and recommendations for improving compliance practices.
- Training and Awareness: Assist in developing training materials and programs to raise awareness about market abuse among employees and stakeholders.
- Data Management: Utilize advanced analytics tools and software to analyze trading data and identify patterns indicative of market abuse.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least [3 years] of experience in a compliance, risk management, or trading role, with a focus on market abuse.
- Strong understanding of relevant regulations, including MiFID II and MAR (Market Abuse Regulation).
- Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication skills in both English and German (additional languages are a plus).
