Node.Js Developer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Node.js Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Node.js, experience building RESTful APIs, and a solid understanding of modern JavaScript development practices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, performant backend services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions using Node.js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs and services seamlessly.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Express.js.
• Participate in peer code reviews, ensuring code quality and consistency.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure system stability.
• Use version control tools effectively for collaborative development.
• Contribute to Agile processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6–8 years of overall development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Node.js development.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6) and asynchronous programming.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks.
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g. Git).
• Understanding of Agile software development practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL/NoSQL).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
