Senior Backend Developer (Python + Go)

This is a high-impact, three-month contract opportunity to contribute directly to an innovative project solving complex real-world challenges.

What You'll Be Doing

• Core Development: Design, develop, and maintain highly reliable software components, with a relentless focus on maximizing performance and availability.
• Technical Strategy: Analyze business requirements, conduct technical design reviews, and provide accurate estimates for user stories within project methodologies (e.g., Agile).
• Code Quality: Proactively initiate and execute code refactoring and optimization improvements, ensuring adherence to the highest software development practices and coding standards.
• Mentorship & Standards: Elevate internal development standards by sharing expert knowledge, conducting tech talks, and providing direct support and training to less experienced developers.
• Innovation: Stay current with the modern technology stack and pursue professional certifications to keep the team at the technical forefront.

Required Skills & Experience

• Core Expertise: Strong senior-level proficiency in Python and Go.
• Database & Logic: Proficiency in TypeScript and SQL.
• Web Services: Solid experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Cloud Platform: Hands-on experience utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, specifically Firestore, BigQuery, and Cloud Run.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Familiarity with Pulumi.
• Communication: Upper-Intermediate English or higher (written and spoken).

Bonus Points

• Experience with Image Processing.
• Familiarity with Object Detection Models.
