Senior Java Developer

MoneyPay is a dynamic fintech start-up with a fast-paced work environment, backed by Migros Ticaret A.Ş., a leading omnichannel retailer in Turkey.

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer who will join us to make this transform real.

You will responsible for;

• Build a product which handles messy data at scale and has an intuitive user experience
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the software
• Participate in building a top-level culture that embrases learning, testing and winning

Technical Skills

• BS/MS/PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related subject
• 6+ years of software development experience
• Experience in designing robust, highly scalable systems
• Proficient in Java, Java EE and Spring Boot
• Proficient with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure
• Familiar with front-end frameworks
• Experience in fintech and banking is a big plus
• Understanding Microservice architecture
• Experience in scrum/agile methodologies
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB and ElasticSearch
• Experience in fulfilling non-functional requirements(e.g. security, performance)
• Experience with high-traffic application backends is a big plus

Soft Skills

• Excellent teamwork skills; ability to identify and solve key problems creatively with minimal guidance
• Detail oriented work ethic
• Strong front-end and backend-coder who can write clean and effective code
