Our client, a leading organization in Sharjah, is looking for an Excel Specialist to design, manage, and enhance advanced Excel tools and reports that drive accuracy, efficiency, and smarter decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel workbooks, dashboards, and data models.
- Use formulas, pivot tables, charts, and macros to automate reporting and analysis processes.
- Create and manage dynamic spreadsheets for forecasting and performance tracking.
- Input, organize, and verify large datasets accurately and efficiently.
- Integrate Excel tools with other data sources (e.g., CSV, Power Query, databases).
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity in all reports and models.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing Excel tools to enhance performance and usability.
- Provide training and technical support to team members on advanced Excel features and best practices.
- Assist with departmental operations, administrative tasks, and daily reporting (Daily/Weekly/Monthly).
- Support the creation and updating of SOPs and process manuals.
- Maintain data sheets and databases with accurate information and ensure SLA timelines are met.
- Analyze existing processes and suggest improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
- Draft accurate letters and reports in both English and Arabic.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in a similar Excel-focused or data management role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VBA, Power Query, Power Pivot).
- Previous experience in data analysis, reporting, or typist/Excel-related roles.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in creating visual dashboards and automated tools.
- Excellent presentation and computer literacy skills.
- High accuracy and speed in typing and data input.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and proactive with strong attention to detail.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
