Job Description

CreditLadder is looking for a PHP developer with Laravel (8.x experience ideally) to join the team at an exciting time. We are launching the next generation of our product using a serverless runtime (Laravel Vapor) to support our rapid growth.

The ideal candidate will go beyond the core MVC competencies and demonstrate fluency in the patterns and best practices used across the framework (Facades, Services, Providers, Events, Listeners, Macroables, etc). They will have a systematic approach to the design and development of succinct and stable interfaces which can be used internally or documented and delivered to external customers and partners.

Preference will be given to candidates who live within commuting distance of Manchester or Chester.

The role is largely based at home and the successful candidate will require a strong working-from-home set-up where regular interaction with the team will be expected during working hours.

Typically between once a week or once a fortnight the successful candidate will be expected to meet team members in either Manchester or Chester (or another location in the North West).
