Conveyancing is a legal process required to close every real estate transaction, ensuring the transfer of ownership is valid and binding. Legacy software has dominated the vertical for years, resulting in a need for crucial improvements. GoVeyance addresses those needs by focusing on the experience across innovation, support, and brand.

Built for conveyancers by conveyancers, GoVeyance’s software provides lawyers, notaries, and law clerks with a dynamic platform that streamlines the real estate transaction process.

Since its launch in April 2023, the company has experienced exponential growth, with a 300% year-over-year (YoY) increase in revenue.

You need to love startup environments and ideally be located in the Vancouver, BC area.

What you will be doing:

• Build and maintain responsive, performant front-end components that power our core product.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and product leads to create a seamless, user-friendly experience.
• Implement robust, maintainable state management using Redux Toolkit.
• Contribute to our design system and component library using MUI, Semantic UI React, and CSS Modules.
• Uphold best practices in code quality, testing, and performance optimization.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and help drive continuous improvement.

Our stack:

• Node.js / TypeScript (general understanding preferred)

What we’re looking for:

• 4+ years of professional experience building modern front-end applications.
• Strong proficiency with React and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of state management, particularly Redux Toolkit.
• Solid knowledge of modern CSS (CSS Modules, SCSS, or equivalent).
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and collaborating with backend teams.
• Strong eye for design and detail — you care about the polish as much as the function.
• Possesses excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Education in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with serverless backends or AWS.
• Familiarity with Vite optimization and build tooling.
• Exposure to UI/UX principles or component libraries at scale.
• Experience with form-heavy enterprise web applications.
