Responsibilities
- Implement efficient patterns to call dependent services, leverage a distributed cache like Redis.
- Implement high availability, resiliency patterns like Circuit Breaker, Retry, Fallback, Bulkhead Isolation, Throttling among others.
- Own and operate services of massive scale.
- Reuse existing open-source libraries and build new libraries of services and best practices for other teams to leverage.
- Perform live site/dev ops engineering for services with top notch monitoring, dashboards, and troubleshooting guides.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of C# and .NET software development experience
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Master's Degree in Computer Science
- OR related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience with LLM application development
- Experience with cloud computing / Azure / AWS / GCP / Kubernetes.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum/Lean Methodology
