A Day in the Life

The Lead Crypto Advisor and Educator is a pivotal role responsible for guiding our clients through the evolving world of digital assets and blockchain technology. You will serve as the firm's subject matter expert, delivering high-level advisory services and developing comprehensive educational programs for both internal teams and external clients. The ideal candidate has a profound understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, and emerging market trends. This position requires exceptional communication skills to distill complex topics for a diverse audience and involves travel to meet with clients and represent Zetatech at industry events.

Core Responsibilities

Crypto Advisory

• Conduct in-depth research and provide clients with expert advice on the opportunities and key risks associated with different digital asset use cases and their underlying blockchain technologies.

• Draft compelling white papers, research reports, and thought leadership articles on complex topics related to digital assets.

• Translate complex technical terms and concepts into plain language, clearly communicating risks and recommendations to a wide range of audiences.

• Provide expert guidance on emerging trends, protocols, and technologies in the digital asset space to ensure clients remain at the cutting edge.

• Stay current on the latest regulations, news, and developments in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space, both in Canada and globally.

Crypto-Assets Education

• Develop and lead the digital asset education program for Zetatech’s clients and internal teams.

• Simplify complex blockchain and digital asset concepts, creating and delivering engaging educational content for audiences ranging from beginners to experienced professionals.

• Create a rich library of educational materials, including easy-to-understand guides, FAQs, webinars, and in-person workshops on various aspects of cryptocurrency and blockchain.

• Travel to client sites, conferences, and industry seminars to deliver training, build relationships, and stay up-to-date on industry trends.

• Collaborate with our product and compliance teams to ensure educational materials are aligned with the latest market developments and regulatory requirements.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in digital assets, blockchain technology, or fintech consulting.

• A deep foundational knowledge of digital assets, including crypto-assets, stablecoins, tokenized assets (RWAs), and NFTs, as well as blockchain technology.

• Demonstrated understanding of the underlying principles, use cases, and potential impacts of these technologies on the financial industry.

• Additional languages (Hebrew/Chinese/Hindi/Arabic/Spanish) would be an asset.

• In-depth, practical understanding of digital asset operations and blockchain use cases.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and teaching skills, with proven experience creating educational content and delivering training sessions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

• A self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment while also thriving in a collaborative team setting.
