Job Description
- Reporting directly to the CFO, the Corporate Finance intern will have the opportunity to drive future capital raising efforts and allocation strategic decisions for planetary
- The intern will benefit from direct exposure to all outward-facing finance activities, including supporting communication with equity investors, current and prospective lenders, and the rapidly expanding set of ESG oriented pools of capital
Main Tasks
- Suppport the CFO in the execution of all type of engagements within the scope of the Corporate Finance department
- Preparation of business cases in the context of the Group’s organic development
- Support for the management of cross-functional projects (including HR, IT, cybersecurity and internal communications)
- Implementation of a quarterly reporting format for investors and creditors
- Prepare presentations and reports to ExCo and Board of Directors
- Draft presentations and other documents for both internal external stakeholders
- Participate in due-diligence meeting
- Work on the valuation of investment opportunities
Preferred Experience
- University degree in Finance (Master 1 or Master 2) or leading business school seeking end-of-studies or gap-year internship
- Motivated to join an impact-focused industrial firm, seeking to do well by doing good and scaling up the alternative protein industry
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills, sound attention to details
- Strong oral & written communication skills in both English & French (English is working language)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel)
- Sound knowledge of corporate finance, private equity and venture capital principles
- Knowledge of the alternative proteins, venture capital ecosystem and start-up life is a plus
- Previous experience in investment banking or venture capital a plus
- Knowledge of Canva a plus
