We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Golang Developer to join our team developing the Open Source Compliance System. This platform empowers SAP's public cloud engineering teams by automating compliance management for vulnerabilities, licenses, and policies directly within their existing tools. By alleviating manual compliance overhead, our solution enables developers to focus on delivering high-quality software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable Go-based microservices and backend components
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver technical solutions
• Integrate services with tools like Jira, GitHub, and Sirius for seamless compliance management
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews, providing and incorporating constructive feedback
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for platform stability and reliability

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience with Go (Golang) development
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and backend service design
• Background in integrating third-party tools and services such as Jira and GitHub
• Expertise in relational databases like PostgreSQL and proficiency in SQL
• Skills in containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes
• Showcase of writing unit and integration tests
• Understanding of security best practices and open-source licensing
• Strong communication skills, with competency in teamwork and collaboration
• English language proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher

Nice to have

• Experience working in compliance, security, or open-source management systems
• Familiarity with SDLC processes and Agile methodologies
