Job Description


Your Influential Mission: You Will…


  • Lead vulnerability management efforts, identifying weak or missing controls and suggesting improvements and remediation strategies.
  • Take hands-on responsibility for assessing, hardening, and patching security systems across both production and corporate environments.
  • Design, develop, implement, and support a variety of security technologies, controls, and tools.
  • Participate in and support security risk assessments, audits, and compliance activities.
  • Collaborate closely with business owners, product managers, DevOps, IT operations, and development teams, providing subject matter expertise on information security.
  • Respond to and support investigations of potential security incidents within your area of responsibility.
  • Ensure Playtech systems (endpoints, servers, virtualization, and cloud endpoints) adhere to security standards, policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Drive projects implementing world-class security solutions and technologies used within Playtech.
  • Communicate daily with internal stakeholders (including asset and vulnerability owners) and occasionally with auditors, translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.


Qualifications


Components for Success: You…


  • Bring 2–5 years of relevant, hands-on experience as an Information Security Expert/Engineer (we value both strong technical backgrounds and the right attitude, analytical skills, being self-driven and proactive).
  • Possess a solid understanding of Information Security, IT systems, and Networking principles.
  • Hold a technical or academic background (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, etc.) or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrate proven, hands-on experience with:
  • Vulnerability management and scanners (as the core focus of the position).
  • Identity protection and privileged access management (e.g., AD, AAD, MS Entra, OpenLDAP, MFA, EPM, PAM).
  • Information and data protection, including database security.
  • Securing Windows, MacOS, and Linux endpoints.
  • Exhibit excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Are goal-oriented, quick to learn, and embrace change as a normal part of life.
  • Work well independently and as a team player, with high integrity and a collaborative spirit.

  • Security certifications and training such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CISM, CKS, CKA, or similar.
  • Experience as a system engineer, service admin, or in IT roles prior to moving into security.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical issues for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in global, multicultural teams.
  • Prior exposure to large-scale, enterprise environments.
