Graduate Software Engineer - C++
Cambridge - Hybrid
£30,000 - 40,000
ViVA Tech Talent are working with a global powerhouse. They have a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Software Engineer to join the team.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, and maintain applications written in C/C++.
- Work across the full software development lifecycle — from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
- Support live systems and assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to deliver efficient, high-quality software.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing, automation, and deployment pipelines.
What we’re looking for
- 1–2 years’ experience in software development using C++ (STL/Boost).
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS).
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, or Python.
- Understanding of Agile, TDD/BDD, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
