Our client is a household name in the Australian market and a leader in their field and a powerhouse for data-driven innovation. They’re growing their Data Science capability and are on the lookout for a Data Scientist to join a high-performing, collaborative team.
Reporting to the Data Science Manager, you’ll play a key role within one of the team’s specialist streams, applying advanced modelling and quantitative techniques to develop and deliver innovative products that reach a huge customer base.
What you’ll do:
• Design, build, validate, and enhance predictive models across a variety of use cases within the data science roadmap
• Partner with other Data Scientists and cross-functional teams to translate data insights into business impact
• Engage stakeholders with clear communication and reporting , from technical discussions to strategic updates
• Apply your commercial mindset to ensure models deliver measurable business value
• Collaborate with engineering teams to productionise models using modern MLOps and software engineering best practices
What you’ll bring:
• A genuine passion for data and curiosity about how analytics can explain human and market behaviour
• Strong experience in statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and machine learning techniques
• Hands-on experience building, deploying, and maintaining models using tools such as Python, R, SQL, and cloud platforms
• A collaborative, proactive mindset and an eagerness to keep learning and innovating
