AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining the backbone of our AI infrastructure for 3D scene synthesis
• Architecting and managing large-scale systems that support data ingestion, model training, inference
• Optimizing large-scale distributed machine learning systems
• Creating robust, scalable solutions that enable our cutting-edge AI research and development
• Contributing to applications for VR/AR product development
• Together with our team, work towards a top-tier, scientific publication

Minimum Qualifications

• Extensive experiences (2+ years building and maintaining infrastructure to support large-scale model training, model inference and data processing
• Expertise in areas such as data infrastructure scaling, distributed model training, model optimization for efficient inference, or development of low-level ML kernels
• Experience with performance engineering
• Knowledge of database management and optimization
• Deep domain knowledge in one or more AI/ML specialties
• 2+ years experience with AI/ML frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)

• Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record of working in teams to train or deploy large models, either at major tech companies or innovative startups
• Experience with generative models (e.g. diffusion models, GANs), 3D representations (NeRFs, 3D Gaussian Splatting), and inverse rendering techniques
• Demonstrated software engineer experience via previous internships, work experiences, coding competitions, or widely used contributions in open source repositories (e.g. GitHub).
