About the role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our growing and diverse team. Working closely with the HR Manager, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our employees are supported, engaged, and compensated correctly. You will assist with a variety of HR tasks, from payroll and timesheet management to recruitment support and employee relations. Your contribution will be key in keeping our HR operations organized, efficient, and aligned with the needs of our expanding company.
Key Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Assist with payroll processing, including the control and validation of timesheets
- Prepare contracts for permanent staff, flexi workers, and students, and make sure HRIS records are up to date
- Provide support to shop managers with HR-related questions and issues
- Assist in recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews and candidate communication
- Support employees with general HR inquiries
- Perform data entry and other administrative HR tasks
- Contribute to HR projects and process improvements as needed
- Be the first point of contact for our external payroll partner
Qualifications:
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Previous experience with payroll administration
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail: strong focus on accuracy and precision.
- You’re fluent with basic office software, experience with Odoo, Shyfter, Officient or other HRIS is a plus.
- Basic reporting proficiency and willingness to grow in this area
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially

Contract details:
- Part-time: 24h contract, 3 days per week
- 6-months contract, with the potential for a permanent role based on performance
