This is not a typical controlling role. You will serve as the strategic link between operational data and financial performance, providing senior leaders with the insights they need to steer decisions that shape the business.
In this newly created, high-impact position, you will lead the development and deployment of performance tools, KPIs, and productivity analytics across business units worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the tools and metrics that support CEO-level decisions.
- Establish and roll out operational KPIs and benchmarking frameworks across laboratories and business units.
- Build granular P&Ls and advanced price-volume-productivity metrics to enhance performance management.
- Align financial and operational data using systems
- Drive CAPEX optimization
- Monitor and ensure performance delivery of newly acquired companies.
- Lead the rollout of automated cost models (APCC) to enable margin and profitability analysis.
- Develop dashboards, templates, and training materials that equip business leaders to act on data.
- Lead and expand a high-performing team (currently two), shaping the function as the role evolves.
Your Profile
You are a hands-on, data-driven finance leader with a strong operational mindset and a passion for delivering strategic impact.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or Chemistry;
- MBA is an asset.
- 7 – 15 years of experience in industrial finance, operational controlling, or performance analysis.
- Language: English
- Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced, international environments.
- Strong leadership skills
