Network Security Engineer

Description and Location:

Within the network security team, participation and contribution to the definition of the network security architecture for the protection of applications.

The scope covers internal and regulatory areas, with technologies including Illumio, VMware NSX, OpenShift, Fortinet, and Palo Alto.

Responsibilities:

• Support application production teams in implementing the security policy
• Support infrastructure teams in upgrades, evolutions, and mergers of network security infrastructures
• Document the architecture and rules to enable the Delivery Team to process requests on a daily basis
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support on the mentioned technologies, assisting the Delivery Team
• Periodic contribution and participation in the Delivery Team
• Execution of Level 1 controls within the defined scope

Requirements:

• A good level of English is required to communicate with teams located outside France
• Experience in network security within the banking production field is a plus

Key Activities:

• Implementation of the Security Policy
• Control of the Security Policy, particularly through Periodic Level 1 Controls
• Validation and investigation of deviations that contravene the Security Policy
• Maintenance of Security Infrastructures in operational conditions (supervision, support, incident/problem resolution, installation, and configuration)
• Participation in internal and external audits
• Implementation of audit recommendations and compliance requests
• Drafting of security guides and standards
• Providing advice on the implementation of security solutions
• Proposing innovative solutions to improve security, quality, performance, and operational costs
• Ensuring technological monitoring

Technical Stack:

• Firewall: Fortinet, Checkpoint, Juniper, Tufin – Expert – Required
• Micro-segmentation: Illumio, NSX-T, OpenShift – Junior – Preferred
