DocSpera is looking for a high-caliber developer who wants to jump in head-first and help build a digital healthcare company experiencing explosive growth.

We are looking for a talented and motivated Developer with strong experience in AI-driven backend systems and cloud infrastructure. You’ll be part of a cross-functional engineering team building scalable, intelligent services leveraging OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), and AWS technologies, including AWS Bedrock.

You’ll play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining AI applications and backend systems that power critical products and integrations — helping shape the future of intelligent digital healthcare platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain backend systems and APIs using Python and Golang.
  • Develop and integrate AI models using OpenAI, Claude, or similar LLM frameworks.
  • Architect and deploy scalable infrastructure on AWS Cloud, using Terraform or CloudFormation for automation.
  • Collaborate closely with product, data, and ML teams to design robust and secure backend solutions.
  • Implement monitoring, performance tuning, and system reliability best practices.
  • Contribute to overall architecture and technical direction of the AI platform.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong coding proficiency in Python and/or Golang.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML model integration, particularly OpenAI and Anthropic Claude APIs.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Deep understanding of AWS services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, IAM, Bedrock, SQS, SNS, etc.).
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable, high-performance cloud architectures.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
  • Based in Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, or Northern Europe

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Cloud Native technologies, including AWS Lambda, Kubernetes, Docker, and other serverless architectures & patterns
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps principles, and automation.
  • Prior experience in AI product development, prompt engineering, or LLM optimization.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in developer communities.
