Position

Our HMI (Human-Machine Interaction) Division focuses on the user experience and user interface design process in its entirety — from user research and concept development to interface design and interactive prototyping.

What you will do

The selected intern will join the UX/UI team and will have the opportunity to:

• Support user research and usability evaluation activities (interviews, user testing, heuristic analysis, etc.);
• Contribute to UX and UI design for digital and embedded interfaces;
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes (using Figma or similar tools);
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of researchers, designers, and developers.

The internship provides a hands-on experience across the full design process, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge to real projects in innovation and technology.

Requirements

A motivated person with a genuine interest in user experience, interaction design, and human-centered design.

We are looking for graduates or recent graduates in:

• Design, Communication Design, Interaction Design;
• Psychology, Cognitive Science, Human Factors;
• Human-Computer Interaction, or related fields.

Desired skills and attitudes

• Understanding of UX research and design methodologies;
• Ability to use Figma or similar tools (Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.);
• Curiosity, creativity, and attention to detail;
• Team spirit and willingness to learn.

• Work location: On-site, Reggio Emilia HQ
