Global Student Project Latvian Team Member - Volunteer

TugOnn is a student-led community project, thoughtfully designed to foster stronger connections within communities through impactful, localized interactions. The primary objective is to establish a platform where students can engage in challenges, share their talents, provide assistance, and encourage positive contributions within their community and geographical area. Ultimately, the goal is to cultivate a platform that values genuine contributions and connections, helping students to connect with one another, promote their ideas and feel as a part of a global student community.

While still in its early stages, students worldwide are actively participating in building the business model, strategic planning, and brand identity, shaping the project’s direction toward enhancing community well-being.

Your Role 

We are looking for a team member who will help us build a brand of TugOnn Latvia, through Social Media Management (SMM), content creation, event planning and more. This is a remote volunteer role with a flexible schedule, offering you a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global student project.

Your responsibilities will include:

•⁠ ⁠Creating various content formats (Instagram Stories, Reels, Posts, TikToks) aligned with our mission and brand identity

•⁠ ⁠Representing TugOnn’s values and stories visually in a way that resonates with our target audience

•⁠ ⁠Contributing ideas to marketing campaigns and overall strategy

•⁠ ⁠Collaborating with the global marketing team to develop impactful content and solutions

•⁠ ⁠Staying updated with social media trends to keep our content fresh and relevant

•⁠ ⁠Contributing to event planning

What we’re looking for:

•⁠ ⁠Experience (or strong interest) in social media content creation

•⁠ ⁠Creative mindset with attention to detail and aesthetics

•⁠ ⁠Familiarity with Canva and other design/editing tools

•⁠ ⁠Strong teamwork and communication skills

•⁠ ⁠Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

•⁠ ⁠Openness to feedback and collaboration in a diverse, international team

•⁠ ⁠Passion for community building, storytelling, and social impact
