About The Role
On Revolut’s Market Making team, we work to obtain the best value we can in currency and securities trading. Our goal is to become the world’s leading market maker. To achieve this, we tackle the most challenging problems using cutting-edge quantitative research and advanced machine learning techniques to build automated trading systems.
We’re looking for a skilled trader to sit within our market making desk. You’ll be given varying tasks and problems within trading, giving you breadth and depth of experience unmatched in almost any other role, and the chance to have an impact on Revolut’s success. You’ll receive hands-on training from the team and develop your analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Driving profitability via managing algorithmic trading systems
- Building trading algorithms and optimising trading processes to continue Revolut's hyper-growth
- Digging deep into financial data, performing extensive statistical analysis, modelling, identifying additional revenue streams, and locating areas of future automation
- Developing relationships with our counterparties and vendors to optimise trading infrastructure
- At least a 2:1 STEM degree from a top university
- 3+ years of work experience in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in trading
- Hands-on coding experience with SQL, Python, or R
- A solid track record of taking ownership and leading complex projects end to end
- A magic skill to break complex problems into smaller ones
- To enjoy working with data
- Natural curiosity and will to make an impact
- An interest in the financial industry
