Your Profile & DNA:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer (Dutch) with expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications to join our dynamic team.

Role & Responsibilities

• He is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications, writing and testing scalable code in languages like Kotlin and Java, and leading technical aspects of projects
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior developers, troubleshooting bugs, optimizing performance, and implementing new technologies.
• Application development - Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Android applications.
• Code quality and architecture - Write clean, efficient, and well-organized code. Ensure code quality, manage technical debt, and set the technical direction for projects.
• Technical leadership - Guide and mentor junior developers, lead feature development, and own the delivery of major components.
• Collaboration - Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
• Performance and optimization - Identify and fix bugs, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and continually optimize the application for speed and resource efficiency.
• Testing and quality assurance - Write unit tests, conduct application tests, and collaborate with QA to ensure successful deployments.
• Innovation - Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to improve development efficiency and platform capabilities.

Qualification & Experience

• Strong proficiency in Android development, including frameworks and tools like Android SDK, Android Studio, Kotlin, and Java.
• Experience with mobile testing frameworks such as Espresso and JUnit.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with APIs, including both third-party and Google APIs (e.g., Maps, Firebase).
• Understanding of mobile security, UIUX principles, and data analytics platforms.
