Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain resilient and efficient backend services using Kotlin.
• Build and manage well-documented, high-performance REST APIs for inter-service communication.
• Implement and operate event-processing solutions with Kafka, ensuring reliable asynchronous communication.
• Manage data persistence using MongoDB, designing schemas that meet business requirements.
• Deploy and manage applications on our cloud platform, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
• Collaborate closely with frontend, product, and QA teams to ensure the delivery of a cohesive, high-quality solution.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code, actively participating in code reviews.

Requirements:

• Solid professional experience in backend software development with Kotlin.
• Proven experience in building and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with messaging systems, especially Kafka, and an understanding of event-driven architecture patterns.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and container orchestration platforms (e.g., Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
