The Software Developer Trainee will focus on developing, enhancing and maintaining IT software applications based on Atlassian Jira and Confluence solutions, working within an international, global team. The role seeks an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and open-minded person eager to contribute to cutting-edge solutions and collaborate across cultures.
Position: Internship
Duration: 12 months
Start Date (tentative): November 2025
Location: Hybrid in Amadora, Portugal
Education Recommendations: Currently a candidate who is finishing or have finished their BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Informatics, or a related field with an accredited school
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Design, code and test software enhancements for Jira and Confluence
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple regions
- Participating in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment
You have:
- Knowledge of software development
- Coding skills in Java 8/11 and Python
- Fluency in English
- Skills in JavaScript and Groovy
- Knowledge of SQL queries and/or Databases
- Contact with Maven
- Interest in Azure Cloud environment
