This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Program Manager - Strategic Programs in India, Portugal, or South Africa.

As a Senior Program Manager, you will lead and coordinate high-impact strategic programs that drive organizational transformation and deliver measurable results. You'll oversee complex, multi-product deliveries, working closely with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on program management, demanding a strong command of delivery methodologies, business acumen, and stakeholder management. You'll play a pivotal role in defining delivery approaches, ensuring operational excellence, and mentoring other project leaders to achieve successful outcomes.

Accountabilities

  • Lead complex, multi-product programs and coordinate multiple project teams and vendors within large-scale initiatives
  • Develop and implement comprehensive delivery strategies aligned with business objectives and stakeholder expectations
  • Manage transformation programs from planning through execution, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, budget, and timelines
  • Track KPIs, measure benefits, and oversee program integration to ensure optimal value creation
  • Facilitate program governance, PI planning, and high-level stakeholder communication
  • Oversee project budgets, resource planning, and P&L in partnership with account leadership
  • Proactively identify and resolve delivery challenges, risks, and dependencies
  • Promote delivery excellence through continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of best practices
  • Mentor junior Project Managers, fostering professional growth and effective delivery practices


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of overall professional experience, including at least 5 years in program or delivery management
  • Proven success managing large-scale, multi-functional, and complex projects or programs
  • Strong understanding of project management frameworks, including Agile and Waterfall
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile credentials preferred
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills with the ability to influence outcomes across teams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities at all organizational levels
  • High level of technical and business acumen with a focus on delivery excellence and continuous improvement
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic environments, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution
