Our clients agile scrum team play a critical role in engineering the hybrid cloud platform, with a strong focus on Azure. You'll move beyond simple maintenance, taking ownership of development, automation, and stability across key components:

• Azure Platform Engineering: Design, implement, and support mission-critical infrastructure components, including Azure IaaS/PaaS, IAM/IDP solutions (like Entra ID and modern authentication protocols: OAuth, SAML, ADFS), and our virtualization layer.
• Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) & Automation: Develop and operationalize scalable processes using Terraform (or Bicep/Ansible) for provisioning, monitoring, and managing the entire infrastructure lifecycle. If it can be automated, you'll build it.
• Containerization & DevOps: Be the SME for our container platforms, specifically leveraging Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and native Kubernetes deployments to support our modern application ecosystem.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure platform stability, high performance, and strict adherence to BKB's security and data protection standards, focusing on governance, monitoring, and proactive bottleneck resolution.
• Transformation Driver: Actively support and execute the organization's comprehensive shift from traditional data centers and infrastructure (VMWare, SAN) to a cloud-native, automated future.

Essential Expertise:

• Several years of hands-on experience developing and operating complex IT infrastructure, with a clear focus on Microsoft Azure as a hyperscaler platform.
• Deep technical proficiency across the following:
• Cloud & Containerization: Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Kubernetes, and Azure core services.
• Identity & Access Management (IAM): Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, along with OAuth, SAML, LDAP, and ADFS.
• Automation & IaC: Expert-level scripting/development skills and proven experience with Terraform and Ansible.
• DevOps & Architecture Mindset: A strong technical understanding of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD practices, and treating infrastructure as code.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Developer, or Azure Solutions Architect) are a significant plus!
