Our client C5I’s Bern-based team is building a sovereign, open-source–driven data-analytics platform for cybersecurity use cases. The mission is to deliver a stable, secure, and fully automated private cloud environment that enables seamless user experiences and operational excellence—within a culture that values collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement. As the platform moves into operations, the team is seeking a Technical Product Owner to own the product vision and drive the roadmap.

Your Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the product roadmap for our private cloud platform used for cybersecurity-focused applications
- Gather and prioritize requirements from technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Translate complex stakeholder needs into actionable user stories, clear acceptance criteria, and implementation plans
- Collaborate closely with DevOps, System, and Platform engineers to design and deliver secure, scalable, and automated platform capabilities
- Drive the continuous improvement of platform reliability, scalability, and security, ensuring seamless user experience and operational excellence
- Facilitate alignment sessions such as sprint reviews, PI planning, and stakeholder demos
- Monitor progress, manage risks, and proactively resolve dependencies and blockers
- Define and track key success metrics (e.g. SLOs, deployment frequency, incident rates) and use feedback to guide improvements
- Ensure documentation of product decisions, architecture, and release notes is complete and up to date
- Act as an advocate for security, compliance, and data sovereignty throughout the product lifecycle
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or in a similar technical leadership role within a cloud-native or infrastructure-oriented environment
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking, container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes), Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible), and CI/CD pipelines
- Proven ability to align diverse technical and business stakeholders, balancing strategic goals and operational constraints
- Hands-on experience with Agile or SAFe frameworks (e.g. sprint reviews, backlog refinement, PI planning)
- Analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to define KPIs and make informed product decisions based on telemetry and monitoring data
- Strong communication, problem-solving and prioritization skills, combined with a proactive and collaborative working style
- Excellent English language skills; German is an advantage
- Nice to have: Certifications such as CSPO or SAFe POPM, or experience in cybersecurity analytics
