We’re excited to share that we’re currently looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Node JS) to join our team in the social consumer industry. This is a great opportunity to work on a fast-growing platform, tackling technical challenges, integrating social media services, and building innovative features for our private messaging service. You’ll work closely with the Team Lead and senior engineers to deliver the roadmap, influence technical decisions, and collaborate across the team to solve complex problems.

The ideal candidate has experience building backend applications and REST API services using Node.js, Express, TypeScript, and MongoDB, and is familiar with tools and frameworks like RabbitMQ, Jenkins, AWS, and Ansible.

Our company operates platforms that offer adult content, so it’s important that you’re comfortable working in this space.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on development, ensuring quality and reliability of the platform.
• Collaborate with Product team members to define, scope, and plan future requirements.
• Identify emerging issues and non-functional requirements, and implement solutions with the team.
• Contribute to the technical direction of the team and take ownership of engineering decisions.
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building backend applications and REST API services with Node.js / JavaScript.
• Strong experience with Express, TypeScript, MongoDB, and REST APIs.
• Proficient with Git or equivalent version control systems.
• Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and take ownership of projects.
• Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience with RabbitMQ, Jenkins, AWS, Ansible, or general DevOps practices to manage development/build environments.
