As a Data Scientist at Sunrise DCOE, you’ll deliver end-to-end, production-grade AI/ML solutions that create measurable business value. You combine a reliable, “own the outcome” mindset with strong technical skills and a bias for shipping. Beyond building models, you help shape new ways of working - raising the bar for quality, collaboration, and speed across the organization.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

• Deliver end-to-end AI/ML solutions in GCP - from problem definition through deployment, monitoring, and iteration - to create measurable business value
• Partner with senior leaders to pick the highest-impact use cases, define success metrics, and report progress, risks, and results
• Build reliable data and model pipelines using BigQuery and Vertex AI, covering batch and real-time workloads with strong performance and security
• Automate testing, deployment, tracking, and monitoring to keep models stable in production and enable fast, safe rollouts
• Design and ship GenAI features and tool-using agentic workflows with clear guardrails and evaluation
• Create reusable code, templates, and playbooks that speed up future deliveries and raise quality across teams
• Mentor teammates, share best practices, and promote a collaborative, outcome-focused culture
  
  

YOUR SKILLS:

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar, plus 2+ years delivering production AI/ML solutions end to end
• Hands-on experience with GCP for data and ML: BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow/Beam, Cloud Run/Functions, CI/CD
• Strong Python and SQL; write testable, efficient code; build robust data and model pipelines with monitoring and retraining
• Solid ML foundations: problem framing, feature engineering, experimentation, offline/online evaluation, and responsible deployment
• Practical GenAI and agentic AI experience: LLMs, RAG, tool use, evaluation, and safety guardrails
• Reliable, ownership mindset; clear communication with non-technical stakeholders; mentoring and teamwork
• Language skills: fluent English; German is a plus
