About Nolaon Industries and BrainTrainerPlus

We, Nolaon Industries, have recently acquired BrainTrainerPlus. BrainTrainerPlus™ stimulates cognitive capabilities and memories for the aged and people with starting dementia. The BrainTrainerPlus is a device designed to stimulate cognitive capabilities and memories for the aged through the power of games.

The BrainTrainerPlus was created based on theories citing benefits of play therapy for people with Dementia, Alzheimers, Depression, and just lack of intellectual stimulus. It has established itself as a beneficial tool for both clients and support workers. Inducing interaction, cognitive action and entertainment.

Nolaon Industries is a boutique investment firm. As a team of entrepreneurs, we are dedicated to building and growing a strong portfolio of Dutch SME companies. We provide these companies with a stable home base, respecting their existing strengths and culture. No drastic course changes, but building on what works. This makes us different from traditional private equity. Our choices are guided by conviction, long-term thinking and trust.

The team at BrainTrainerPlus consists of 7 people who mostly work remotely. Two account managers and a field service engineer visit customers. We have a customer care role (mostly sales support, service & support desk and front office) mostly account management inside sales and support). Plus we have product owner and a developer for the software stack. Rick Nijkamp and Bram Cool manage the company on a part-time basis.

BrainTrainerPlus is our second acquisition. Earlier we have acquired Hago Electronics. Both companies are located in Zoetermeer. All people at BrainTrainerPlus work primarily remotely. We come together physically about every month though meet online frequently. The people at our companies mostly speak Dutch though quite a few of us are fluent in English.

About process automation at BrainTrainerPlus

At BrainTrainerPlus we have quite some small customers, mostly care homes for the elderly. We administer this currently in a legacy platform Salesforce. The decision has been taken to move away from this platform and that the future platform to automate our business processes is Hubspot.

We would like to bring the skills to automate our business processes inhouse so that we can maintain a high level of flexibility to adapt. In future, we potentially see other group companies also standardizing on this platform.

A description of our current understanding of the scope of the project is provided in Annex 1 of this document.

About you

As junior business analyst / process automation professional, you will be part of the BrainTrainerPlus team based in The Netherlands. Your primary responsibility is the drive process automation so that our customers and employees experience a seamless and intuitive environment to interact and work in. In this role you will interact primarily with other BrainTrainerPlus colleagues.

As junior process automation professional you are joining a great team of talented individuals who want to make a difference to the lives of the elderly.

We can be flexible with the working hours as we understand that you will have existing other obligations. Our initial thoughts are that this position could work with a workweek of 32 hours though we are open to other proposals. The workweek could take place outside regular working hours (9:00 – 17:30 CET). Diligence, accuracy, structure, and a love for process and numbers are key words applicable to this role.

We are willing to invest in your learning of the Hubspot Platform, for example using the Hubspot Academy or Coursera. The learning time will be a joint investment as we are willing to pay for a reasonable number of hours for you to learn the platform. In addition, we will be providing a senior Hubspot expert to help guide the project.

Responsibilities

·       Learning the Hubspot platform. We expect you to become our resident expert who can own the automation of our online business processes

·       Understand and design business processes

·       Implement and maintain business processes in Hubspot

·       Set, agree, manage and communicate deliverables and due dates

·       Signal inefficiencies and/or errors processes and suggest improvements

·       Provide monthly KPI reports. Provide actionable management information

Requirements

·       We are looking for an individual with a learning mindset and who is curious about how systems work and how they can be improved.

·       With a natural interest in digital tools and enjoy working with software platforms.

·       Someone who has earlier demonstrated technical skills, for example in computer programming or in other process oriented roles

·       Education level ideally with a university or higher eduction degree; we prefer a technical and analytical orientation

·       Proven ability to work with numbers

·       Proven ability to work with processes

·       Proven affinity with IT and internet

·       Good command of office software such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word

·       Knowledge of database systems (such as Access) is a plus

·       Good communication and interpersonal skills

·       Positive, pro-active, solution-oriented work attitude and inquisitive

·       Well-organized, structured, and precise

·       Flexible attitude and ability to deal well with a dynamic environment, time pressure and change

·       We understand and appreciate that your Dutch is not perfect yet. The good news is that we believe that for this role, you do not need great Dutch language skills

·       Permit to work

We understand that the project described in Annex 1 is a large project but will come to a natural end where only maintenance is required. It is good to know that we have other group companies where similar projects could be found. In addition, it is reasonable to assume that we have other work inside the Nolaon Industries group for a person with for example a software development background, or an electrical engineer.
