Python Developer

Overview:

SOFTSWISS is hiring a Python Developer to join our Automation & AI team.

We are looking for a self-driven Python Developer with strong experience in designing and building backend services, system integrations, and AI-driven automation solutions.

In this role, you will manage tasks end-to-end - from gathering requirements and designing the architecture to implementation, deployment, and monitoring. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and team members throughout the entire development lifecycle.

You will also contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and the evolution of engineering best practices within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and evolve services for business process automation
• Design integrations between internal systems
• Build chatbots and AI agents
• Set up service monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Write unit and integration tests
• Conduct code reviews, mentor teammates, and promote best practices
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerised services
• Leverage LLM and ML tools to build automation solutions
  
  

Required Experience:

• 3+ years of commercial Python development experience
• Strong understanding of asyncio and asynchronous programming
• Experience designing microservice architectures
• Solid knowledge of FastAPI (preferred), aiohttp, Flask, or Django
• Proficiency with Pydantic, typing, SQLAlchemy (or equivalents)
• Strong SQL skills, including writing raw queries
• Experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL
• Ability to design and scale service architectures
• Linux (Ubuntu/Debian) administration skills
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD
• Ability to read and work with existing code and operate autonomously
• Fluent Russian (mandatory)
• English B1+
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience implementing and maintaining LLM-based services
• Experience with vector databases such as PG vectorDB, Pinecone, FAISS, etc.
• Development of AI agents or chatbots
• Basic understanding of RAG architectures
• Experience working with Kubernetes
