Intertek, a leading international provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection, and Certification) services, is looking for a Cyber Security Manager to join Intertek IT Security team.
Cyber Security Manager will report to the Head of IT Security Operations and manage a team of experienced Analysts that provide support for the EMEA region covering technical security assessments, security technology management, incident validation & response.
This role is delivered in a fully remote model, but occasional and justified presence on site may be required.
Job Purpose:
- Manage a team of Cyber Security Analysts providing global support for Group IT and the business
- Act as the escalation contact point for all cyber security related matters for the region (security monitoring, incident response, technical assessment, security solution and policy management)
- Lead security investigation & major incident response efforts in the region
- Oversee the management of endpoint, network, email and web security technologies
- Perform personnel and performance management for the local Cyber Security team in Poland
- Primary stakeholder for Cyber Security operations within the region
- Coordinate work allocation for cyber security incidents and services
- Drive process improvements to increase detection, reduce mean-time to response and create operational capacity efficiencies
- Support Legal investigations involving cyber security technologies
- Contribute towards cybers security operations strategy development & execution
- Manage daily cybersecurity operations and coordinate the regional security team, including shift planning and absence management.
- Act as the regional escalation point for all cybersecurity incidents and oversee implementation of corrective actions.
- Lead the deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity solutions within the EMEA region.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate security processes to identify areas for optimization and efficiency gains.
- Oversee vulnerability management activities, including threat analysis, critical patching coordination, and compliance monitoring.
- Collect, analyze, and maintain cybersecurity data to support regional and global reporting requirements.
- Supervise infrastructure and web application security assessments, ensuring quality assurance of team deliverables.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and support business continuity and mission assurance strategies.
- Set strategic priorities for regional cybersecurity operations, including budget oversight and resource planning.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
- Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written)
- University Degree in IT, Cyber Security, or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including data security, access management, security controls, and application security risks (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
- Good understanding of cyber security architecture, risk management frameworks, and relevant laws, regulations, and ethical considerations.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in managing cybersecurity teams (3+ members), with strong leadership and policy development skills.
- Familiarity with incident response methodologies, vulnerability management sources, and IT supply chain risk management practices.
- Cybersecurity certifications such as CISA, CISM, or CISSP are preferred
